What do you guys think if I were to auction my first webhosting account away?

The auction would last for just 5 days (since there are so few members and most do not return daily) starting from July 1st?

The auction will take place in "Web Design" forums so we do not get phony Guest posts.

What forms of payment would you accept? e.g Cash, Paypal, Credit Card, Cheque. And could it be payed in any other currency i.e £

a few things first...

right now, i am at the 'development' stage of my hosting plans, that being the case, you will not see my 'main hosting' site nor will i invest in any online payment processing either. (i would have gone with PayPal in the short term, if they were available in this part of the world, but they're not).

Since most of u are known to me and we gather on some other boards too, we can make this real uncomplicated - get cracking with your account and pay me in cash or kind (scripts, etc).

it would be a WASTE to let all this good webspace and bandwidth go down the drain (just cause i am experimenting) - BUT i am NOT willing to give it away free either.

So i came up with this idea... besides, members of this board should get first shot at offers, right?

andrew, as much as i'd like to help u out, u've got to choose between winning this bid at whatever price OR winning the challenger forum?

i think there are few guys here with talent and wouldn't mind a chance to get started the easier way.

Have you looked at Ebay? You should easily be able to get $6-10 per year for a plan like this - not to mention the odd bidding war
