Authenticating against apache proxy server using HttpClientHi,
I am trying to authenticate against an apache proxy server (using mod_proxy) using the java HttpClieny utility. I am setting on the clientState both the proxy credentials and the user credentials (for the backend JBoss server), however apache only seems to recognise the user credentials and uses these to do the proxy authentication. This is incorrect as these credentials are for the backend web-app and not apache. I am not entirely sure if the issue is with the way apache is configured (as a proxy) or as to how I am configuring httpclient. Any help or pointers would be greatly appreciated Barry |
