FLTK 1.1.8 with Nano X: Focus problem for base windowI'm using FLTK 1.1.8 with nano X. I have mature code from a development platform that has been working fine for months with FLTK1.1.7 and X. Switched to FLTK 1.1.8 and nano X, and things aren't working.
Complicating matters is that the systems is mouseless (very sad). Once focus is lost, I'm dead. Main problem is that I have a single base window that I want to catch function key inputs in order to allow the user to bring up different functions/displays. When I close one of these function windows to leave just the base window, the base window doesn't get focus, so I'm dead. There is new logic in Fl.cxx's focus method which will only set the window as X's focus window (fl_xfocus) if there is a parent to the widget getting focus. This is my base (last) window and there is no parent. Therefore it doesn't get focus, and I'm through. Is this actually a coding error in Fl.cxx's focus method, or is there some reason why my base window can't have focus?! Thanks! |
