I think you should experiment with a lot of methods. Find one that you believe would work best for you. Just remember, do not pick up high valued key words like 'Web Design' and pay as the high bidder. I doubt you would do that though

I saw one ad on AltaVista but where else would these appear? I tried Yahoo.com but found nothing. One typo I'd really like to fix is the name of the forum, GIDForums instead of Gidforums. I see that my branding needs a bit more work since it obviously hasn't stuck with you

- I believe it will put it back inside of the que. However, GIDForums is the NAME of the forum, so they should NOT have touched it at all. You can call their 800 number and get a quick answer as to why they chaanged it.

Correct, I thought that they looked nice as GIDForums- which is why I entered it the way I did.

They are fast... they changed the name of the forums (to GIDForums) for all the listings within hours of my request - not bad!

So far, less than 10 clicks; at this rate, we'll finish the $$$ in 270 days, according to their calculations

Just wanted to update this thread with important information about this service from Overture - there is a minimum involved!


... damn, I am REALLY in the wrong business!

I set the amount very low assuming I could maximize the clicks. Did it in less than 30 minutes, so I am sure the results might not be as good as they could be. Once you get the hang on it, you can really pull some traffic off overture.
