Javascript for Navigation...

Hello All,

I have been learning Javascript over the last couple of weeks. I want to create a website that has the same navigation technique as the Porsche website.

See example here: http://www.porsche.com/usa/

When you hoover over the cars on the left, it brings out another button(s) that you can hoover over. When you hoover over that, it pops up a window with the car specs. How do I achieve something like this? If you have a tutorial you can point me to that would be great. I have no idea how to accomplish this. In fact, I don't even know what this is called so can't search for code snippets/tutorials on it.

Re: Javascript for Navigation...

have your first menu with the little cars on them, when you hover, show it's 2nd menu and hide all the others (incase you left one), and if you hover of anyof the menu items in the 2nd menu then display the big (div) and place your picture, title, description, price etc...

and I would have a boolean to see if you are still in the menu, if you are and its the first menu, hide the big div, and all the 2nd menus(except the one corresponding to the menu item you are on in menu 1), if you are and its the second menu, hide the other second menus, and show the big div corresponding to the menu item you are hovering over now.

if you are not in the menu at all, close everything.
