I am having similar problems. I have a matshita cw-8121 dvd/cdrw combo drive,running nero 6, heres my log can anyone PLEASE PLEASE HELP ME, I cant even find updated drivers. Heres my error log

interesting analogy there pcx, I have had nero 5.5 working fine before, then I installed some other progs for dvd burning and video editing and then it stopped working, my aspi are all installed correctly ( version 4.6 ), might just reformat the whole computer, wipe the slate clean but cant find drivers for my burner, do all burners have drivers ? does windows supply the drivers ? thanks for the help
