I have been given by a friend a programme call Web ceo, i have started using it to find keywords etc, submitting to search engines etc. it seems ok just wanted get any others comment on this?

it's a one of the best tool... u can use it.. i've tried it and worked on it for website analysis

I have been using that tool as well as some other tools from seochat.com mainly for analysis purposes. But I don't use any software to submit my sites to search engines - which is so 90's. They have spiders now that crawl the web to look for newer sites to index.

from my point of view, i dont think that using this seo machines would make any good for your overall search position on google. I only prefer web applications to review and analyse my SEO

No doubt WEBCEO is a good SEO software, but there are other SEO suites that are far better than it, namely IBP, SEO Elite etc.

The only advantage with these SEO softwares is that it reduces your effort and time spent. If you have ample time, you can do it manually too.

I would not recommend using any tool that does the work for you. On top of that I would no recommend even submitting your sites to search engines at all. Just start building relevant back links and the search engine will automatically index your site.

Along with this I would ensure that your onpage optimization is up to date so you will have even more influence. As well try to rank for directly corelated search terms. An example of this would be if your overall goal is to rank for the term "Dog", then try ranking for keywords such as "Dog houses" and "Dog food" that way when you go to compete for "Dog" you will already have links with relevant anchor text supporting your site.
