Hi: Thanks for the reply. I just ordered the Asus a7v8x-x. This board apears to fill my needs of supporting my current equipment (amd 1.2 gig processor, 512 mg ddr pc 2100 and nvidia geforce2 ti) while leaving room for future upgrades. My current mobo is an ECS k7s5a which isn't a bad board but lacks usb 2.0 and a working ps/2 port. Angus

That is in my option one of the most important things to look at when getting a new system board making sure it's upgradeable. I hope you like your new board let us know how it works.

Asus A7n8x-x

ASUS A7N8X-X this board will do what you want. The a7v8x-x is not Nforce2 but a via chipset. You might try http://www.cpupoint.com for this product the have some great prices on ASUS and AMD product! If you want to spend over 100.00 try the ASUS A7N8X-E-DX this board is the newest from ASUS.
