Re: Power Calibration Error In Nero Fix (hopefully)

Not that good, the Tosh worked for a couple of CDs then gave up again.

Disabling DVD-RAM fixed the issue

So for a Tosh A80 try the above IMAPI fix and also stop and disable the DVD-RAM service.

I have not tried rolling back to SONIC, it is not well liked by my users. Time will tell if the fix sticks this time

Re: Power Calibration Error In Nero Fix (hopefully)

u know i've had this same problem many times, and that fix has never worked for me. If your using a laptop I recomend simply manually moving the optical to the outside of it's range. Since i've started using this technique i have never had a disc fail, cd or dvd and even the worst of media.

Re: Power Calibration Error In Nero Fix WORKS!!!

I have a Sony Vaio w/a Sony RW DVD/CD Drive - I tried many fixes including updating my firmware and fixing missing ASPI files, from adaptec.com.... and testing ASPI files. NOTHING WORKED!!!! I spent about 3 hours researching the problem with no avail. Then I stumbled on this forum and the answer was right at the top, the comment was my last resort, and to my surprise this simple fix really works!!!!

Try This Fix IT REALLY WORKS!!!

Re: Power Calibration Error In Nero Fix (hopefully)

Hi!

I have been burning DVD for months now until I started getting this same error message using DVD Shrink. I also get the message "Burn process fail at 4x". Most of my Office Depot blank DVD have now become coasters. I tried this suggestion and still not able to burn my movies. I have a NEC ND-1100A using Nero.

Can anyone offer any other suggestion to help me fix this headache? I've even downloaded Nero 7 free version to see if this will work before I buy it.

Thanks
