Worked just fine for me as well.
Was getting the error in nero 6.0.8 so just upgraded to 7, this didn't stop errors.
But disabling IMPAPI seems to have done the trick.

Spoke too soon. Tried to burn a third DVD and if failed with the same error. I'm using Memorex and they seem to be living up to their motto, "Is it live or is it Memorex - If it ****s up then it's Memorex"

i will bag the memorex spindle and try something else... then on to air blower can and then to cleaning disk and then.... F**K!

WHERe is that option?? I can't find it anywhere on neither of my machines is there another way to disable it so I can burn without power errors?

Tried all the above with no joy

My problem was on a Toshiba A80 laptop, tried several packages, Sonic etc and ended up with Nero still would not burn.

Finally found it by accident

on these laptops the battery MUST be fully charge AND it MUST be running on mains power or the CD/DVD burner just gives in!
