Polyacene Batteries

I've been working with ubicom sx micros for a work project and have drifted off to using solar cells as a power source. While looking into a rechargeable battery array I came across these ultracapacitors and these Polyacene batteries.

The PAS solution looks interesting. Has anyone used these or know anything about them? The ultracapacitors are quite expensive unless I can find a use for a large quantity of them. By contrast, the PAS are about 15 cents a piece in bulk.

Thanks,
Mark

Re: Polyacene Batteries

Not only haven't I used them, I never heard of them before. So, if anyone else is curious, Wikipedia has some good info on supercapacitors (which polyacene batteries are part of).

I've seen the Wikipedia as well as a few others. The only real concrete thing I've seen is a rechargeable screwdriver that can be fully recharged in about 90 seconds.

Guess I'll just have to use the mad scientist method.
