Re: ASAP!!!! connect MS SQL Server 2005 to MFC Dialog apphi there,
I think you are clicking the finish button at the beginning. When you keep on pressing Next instead of clicking Finish, you will get to the dialog where you can enter the database information. Check it out!!!! |

Re: ASAP!!!! connect MS SQL Server 2005 to MFC Dialog apphey there Jana,
i already click next, and i choose the dialog based type... however, the database support are not shown... as in the dialog for me to choose which database support... However, the single document type and the multiple document type does have the database support.. except for the dialog based type... |

Re: ASAP!!!! connect MS SQL Server 2005 to MFC Dialog appOh...yeah you are correct....This problem gives me an answer for me not being able to use the database option...bcoz my existing project was made on dialog based application...
I'm not in a capacity to answer you, But will do my research and will get back to you if I come across any solution...Meanwhile there r others who knows better so try ur luck..... There must b a reason why dialog based mfc application does not support database in the wizard...... |

Re: ASAP!!!! connect MS SQL Server 2005 to MFC Dialog appWhat about adding the ADO ActiveX control to your dialog? You can get at your SQL Server that way. Or you can #import ADO into you dialog application.
