No partition in mirror diskHi evryone
Can you help me with this? I am cloning my disk (with HDClone 3.5), in a new bigger than the original (37 GB to 150 GB), in this process it create in the target, the same space disk that in the original, making a partition, (new: disk 37gb one partition, second partition 113gb) I would like to know haw I can have a plane disk, no partition. After clone, can I delete the partition keeping the info. Haw I can have the same info in a bigger disk with no partitions? Of course, cloning from the original. Thank you, FM65 |

Re: No partition in mirror diskThe documentation should explain this but it sounds like the software is doing what you want: cloning a 37 GB drive to another 37GB drive. Unless there's a setting that tells it to not make separate partitions, I don't know how to make it stop. You may have to just use a program to merge the partitions or copy the info over and delete the smaller partition.

Re: No partition in mirror diskThanks crystalattice, I already got it with Ghost. I created a single disk boot with 150GB.
