Cannot see my second disk

I installed my new second disk in Windows XP, I can see it from CMOS, I can see it from Computer Management, but I can not see it from Explorer.
Devices Manager it doesn’t show any problem, apparently it is correctly installed.
In Disk Manager I can see my C:// with designed letter, I can see a new device, but I can not access it or do anything with it.
Can you help me in this matter?
Thank you firemonkey

When you are in the Computer Manager applet, Click on the Help->Help topics menu item.

When the help window comes up, expand the "Disk Management" icon. Then click on "Checklist:Adding a new disk. Follow the instructions for creating a partition formatting it.

Regards,

Dave
