Question

A question about the Amazon Affiliate Program

Amazon Affiliate Program - how do they work with multiple websites?

I mean, is it possible to paste Amazon affiliate links (from a single account) into multiple websites that you own for example?

Yes, you can use a single affiliate id across as many sites as you wish. I think they have some sort of a sub-id setup as well if you wish to track your sales across multiple domains.

No...too lazy. But I usually know where any direct sales come from as my sites are usually targetted to a particular subject. Here's what the faq says:

Quote:
You may use the same tracking ID for multiple sites. All click-throughs and sales will be treated as having come from a single account. If you prefer separate reporting for each Web site, please write to associates@amazon.com to request tracking IDs for each site you need to track. We request that you notify us of each site regardless of which approach you choose, as we must approve each for participation regardless of the accounting method you choose.

I am sorry to ask, but I don't want to register to become an 'associate' just so I can get some simple questions in my head answered already.

If anyone has access to their Associate Program details, what are their cookie / "return days" value for each referral?

Cookie is only for 24 hours

Returns are 30 days. Payment is once a quarter as long as you are over $100.
