C mixed with assembly x86

Hi! I've a question. I've a project in C mixed with assembly x86 to do but I have some serious problems ! First of all I need to tell you that the project is about the vga graphics memory. My problems now... i use Dev C++ for my c programs, but I as I saw it doesn't support x86 assembly. Any idea of which c compiler should I use? And another one question...let's say that I create the program, which should shows a bitmap file using VGA memory, where will I see it? Should I use DOS emulator?

ps: sorry for my english - I hope that you undestand what I'm trying to tell you !
