Python help requirements and text editor


i need to know the pc requirements for python and cant to seem to find it on the web also need to know the best text editor for python thats light in power thz i am writing this post from a psp

Generally speaking, if your computer system is listed on the Python site, you can install it and run it. The memory load and hard drive requirements are minimal and everything you need to use it is installed. Even additional libraries are light-weight, unless you start looking into Qt or GTK.

My personal preference for Python coding is the SPE editor. It includes wxGlade so you can use either Python's Tkinter library or wxPython to make GUIs, includes code auto-complete, and many other features. It's free and cross-platform, which is a plus.
