Contents of windows seem to randomly shiftI'm currently programming in VS .NET 2005 (C++) on an XP Pro system.
I seem to be having a problem where the contents of windows seem to randomly shift right and down (about 20 pixels each way) for a moment, then back to their normal location. This occurs whether or not the program is idle. The shift seems to occur completely randomly, seems localized to whatever window is active, and only seems to impact the coordinate system of the display context passed to Paint. If, for example, I have a window with several controls (buttons, slidebars, etc.) and output "This is a test" in my Paint routine, I'll see this occasional shift only happen to "This is a test", all other controls remain in their original location. The size of the shift is so close to the size of the titlebar of the window you can almost believe the ClientRectangle coordinates are being offset by those pixels, then after a moment, snaps back to the proper values. Has anyone seen anything like this? Any suggestions are greatly appreciated! |
