Re: Need help getting old games to run?Using the tips in this post, I was able to get all the original 95 versions of C&C to work on my laptop (Sony Vaio). IIRC, it ended up running in DOS mode under XP; rarely it would have problems but it worked for the most part.

Re: Need help getting old games to run?the best thing i have found for running old games is microsoft virtual pc , i have to find an old game i cant run on it almost flawlesly

Re: Need help getting old games to run?i tried that with command and conquer. it keeps telling me it needs space to allocate temporary files and quits the setup. when i finally did manage to get the game to install the game gave me some sort of error saying theis program is not valid or somthing like that. then it just quits. i swear this game is trying to not work.
