Virtual drive

Can i create a virtual drive of another drive say d: such that i can open my virtual drive and perform file operations such as read, write, delete etc but it should not reflect in the original drive(d)..
I tried but im not getting anything into it..

Re: virtual drive

You mean create a clone of a drive or something else entirely? You can use imaging (cloning) software to copy the drive and put it somewhere else, like an external drive. However, Windows doesn't have that capability; you have to get another program.
