Right now im working on a soccer site together with a friend. We are having some trouble in making a good banner, and we would like to ask for some help to make a nice banner. The banner should have the backgroundcolor "#666696" and not be larger then 428x80 pixel.

Your probably best off speaking to Andrew on the forum, he's into his banners. Are you wanted a still banner or an animated one? Animated ones seem to only have a good effect if they are fantastic otherwise people can be blind to them. A still one needs all the information within 428x80 that you need to entice someone to click though.

Just some thoughts for you. What kind of soccer site is it and who would want to see your site? Why would you click on your banner?
