I was JUST reading the local computer tabloid about the same issue here (and in Singapore) - government agencies choosing to go the way of linux!

Ah well, time to go look for that linux CD again....

If only the English government would do the same
The UK's government computer system has become crap since M$ got the contract.

Why, they're IN the news as well... apparently they're banding together with 3 others (NOT Red Hat) to distribute standard versions of the OS next...
