A new 3D modeller

Modelling a Cavern

Hello all i am new to these forums, as you probally have guessed. I am a 3D modeller and have been learning for about 1 year now and i currently work on a project called Myrmidia. I have also done some odd jobs for another project. Myrmidia is an MORPG (Multiplayer Online Role-playing Game). I have been searching around for a forums where i can find people who do 3d modelling and i thought i would try this place out. Currently an Astralina person and I are working on making a large cavern for Myrmidia and i was wondering if anyone here has some 3D modelling skills and would be able to offer some advice.

I hope I enjoy my stay in these forums, I adore this smily it is so good

P.S. pcxgamer good work on the tutorails of 3Ds Max the chess and space ship ones are very good if you have not done tem already. I also use 3DS max 5, it is very good.

Yeah Mr. Banana Man rox! Why don't you post a few example of your work?

I love 3d Graphics on the computer. Maybe post some tutorials here too on how you achieved the effect?

Oh and... welcome to the forums!

I'm not sure how many modelers that we have here. But if you wait around I'm sure that some of them will reply.
I agree with Bobby I would like to see some example of your work. Thanks for the kind words I have done all of the Max tutorials. I'm still slowly working on some stuff of my very own but it will be awhile before I get around to finishing it. Welcome to the forums we hope you enjoy your time here.

Thanks all you are very kind and make me feel very welcome. A lot of my work is on my website www.azwok.mikeasoft.com These are all models were I have treid to keep the polygon count down as they are for Myrmidia. I havn't done many high polygon models only odd things for friends who want a good picture. Hope you like my work so far. If anyone would like to help on Myrmidia which is all volountry work then just e-mail me or drop into the myrmidia IRC which you can get to by using a programme on the myrmidia site (www.myrmidia.com) or using an IRC client

Sorry don't have any tutorials of mine to post as i havn't ever made any. With some of the 3D models I have made on my website i have put a very short description how to make it but nothingvery long.

Thanks again all for making me feel welcome.
