Best option for a one time Credit Card payment?

I'm trying to find a way for a seller to pay me, once, using his credit card. He wants to forward me the information and have me somehow process it. I've been looking into merchant accounts, however I do not forsee the need to really be able to process credit card payments in the future. we would use paypal, however the buyer does not wish to use paypal.
So, in short, what do you all think the best option is for accepting a credit card, just once?
Thanks guys.

You really don't have a feasible option. There are some processors - mainly IPSPs (Internet payment service providers) but they would all require the consumer to go to the IPSP's website to process the transaction.

Re: best option for a one time cc payment?

All I need is to be able to process (essentially) 3 transactions. I have the information (was phoned in to me), and it's of high importance that I process these transactions. Therefore, in this case, what is my best option?
Thanks.

Actually not to have accepted these credit card numbers since you did not have a merchant account agreement with Visa / MasterCard to have access to customer's Visa / MasterCard numbers.

You should consider an IPSP and push the customer over to that site, Paypal or 2CO. Since the customer gave you his / her credit card number, he / she thinks he has paid you unfortunately. Your payment plans should be established first and the consumer should agree to those.

Unfortunately the seller does not wish to use paypal. Does 2co require a tax id to sign up with their service?

Sounds a bit suspicious to me - are you sure the person is genuine?

Have you considered Moneygram or Western Union?

I don't know, really. I guess I somewhat gave up on it all. I'd say he is genuine... after all he did send me actual credit numbers that appear to be valid.
