Configure Apache Accessable by using my static ip?Hello, a newbie here. I have had apache installed for about a year to do my php development on it. now, however, i wish to be able to call my pages that are on my server from the internet.
unfortunately, i'm on a static ip, but still given the IP # i'd like to be able to type 204.40.40.1 and access my website on my computer from anywhere. is this possible? if so, can anyone point me at a tutorial or website that will help me along ? Thanks edit: guess i could give you some info on what i'm running here.. lol. completely forgot. windows xp professional apache 2 dialup modem. Last edited by infolock : 10-Dec-2003 at 16:07.
