TurboCad 12 - addonsThis is just a "toe in the water" post to see if anyone has done this.
I use TC12 (until I update to 14) Deluxe. While I have read you can't use add-ons with the deluxe version, it seems to not be entirely true. After some searching I found one that changes the colors of layers and shows up in the add-on menu after dropping the .dll in TCW12/Program/Draggers. So it seems that you can use add-ons after all. I would be interested to hear if anyone has used GCC to build a DLL that could be used inside of TurboCad. What I would really like to do is to see a simple example of C++ that can be compiled with GCC to create the .DLL for inclusion in Draggers. Perhaps then this could be continued in the Misc Programming Forum. One last thing, the docs for the SDK seem to be full of broken links for the source. I can't see the online version since there is control that won't seem to show in IE7 (contents) or FF2. Does anyone know of a more up to date SDK location? Mark __________________
