moving the recycle bin to a different drive


anyone know how i can move the recycle bin to a different drive, on Win 2000? Its the same physical drive, just a different partition. Is this possible at all?

Right click the bin & select properties. There are plenty of options to fiddle with but as regards positioning iton another partition, I'm not too sure.

As far as I know the recycle bin is split across all your partitions. I don't think it's possible to move it away from the C drive.

Do a search of support.microsoft.com, you may find more info than I could.

What about Powertoys / TweakUI? I looked at my setup and it looks like a possibility... but I didn't dare try.

Naw, Tweak UI doesn't do that .... try Xsetup (just search for it 'cause I forgot the URL or try http://www.lockergnome.com . The guy who runs the site just loves that proggie)
