How to disable ANNOYING double click on Sony laptops

In all sony laptops, it seems that there is some kind of setting enabled in windows that disables single click.

When you hover your mouse over a folder on desktop, or anywhere in windows, the folder gets selected.

Then when u single click it it opens. This is not terrible, but it also has a horrible feature to open all folders in a new window.

I have went through all settings and search on google. I cant figure ut how to disable this annoying feature. Anyone have any suggestions?

1. Open Windows Explorer and under the Tools menu, click on Folder Options.
(Or you could open "Folder Options" in the Control Panel)

2. On the General tab of the "Folder Options" there are three sections:

3. In the Browse Folders part, click on "Open each folder in the same window" or "Open each folder in its own window", as you desire.

4. In the "Click items as follows" section there are two choices: "Single-click to open an item (point to select) and "Double-click to open an item (single-click to select)

If you select the "Single-click" button, you are given a couple of options, but apparently you want the "Double-click" option.

Regards,

Dave
