If you find the problem doesn't occur all the time, you may find the problem lies with IIS6. The following Microsoft Hotfix might be of interest:

Re: The specified CGI application misbehaved by not returning a complete set of HTTP headfor Sai gopal... concerning page can not be found
Have you set up the proper mappings under Application Configuration in IIS for that site? go to IIS MMC, right click on the website...go to properties...then home directory... then the "configuration" button. on the mappings tab do you have an extension of .php with the executable path to .exe or .dll file? Which should also be the same one you have for 'allowed' extensions? I do not know if this will solve your issue... I just know that it is 'an' issue that will cause that message. |

Re: The specified CGI application misbehaved by not returning a complete set of HTTP headThe specified CGI application misbehaved by not returning a complete set of HTTP headers.
I am using Perl for my form application. Whenever I tried on my personal apache server on my PC, I do not get any error message. But after uploading on hosting server I get this message-the specified CGI application misbehaved by not returning a complete set of HTTP headers. Does anyone know what causes this? Any help will be appreciated! Thanks |
