Basically the English U.S is corrupted for some reason, so by changing it's primary editing language, you will resolve the issue

BTW, Do let me know if you have any Microsoft Office or Vista issues, as I am quite familiar with most of them but just don't have the time to write it in my blog. But I will do my best to resolve the issues you're facing as well
