Allowee has a spectacular aura about

Advertising for free host

at www.madsims.net we are offering free hosting.

last month we used 35Gb traffic.

that will cost us $15 a month.

now I would like to know if there are advertisers that will be able to pay atleast $10 a month.

the main and hosting site are getting quite some hits a month..

main:
Total Hits 461179
Total Files 303866
Total Pages 24674
Total Visits 9164
Total KBytes 2846680
Total Unique Sites 44009

hosting:
Total Hits 206595
Total Files 130872
Total Pages 4192
Total Visits 1903
Total KBytes 1795651
Total Unique Sites 7406

so if we place banners there, would we be able to get enough money to run the hosting service?

Yes there are and I suppose the obvious one is Google Adsense

However, commission junction and Affiliate Window are good alternatives if you can find the right banner advertiser.

AdSense is the obvious, preferred and only ad network you want to deal with when you are starting. With 35GB worth of traffic, you'd probably cover your monthly cost of $15.00 in just 2 hours or less!

Oh By the way, I just added some ads off Revenue Pilot here. One of their reps contacted me more than a year ago but silly me, I waited all this time to use them....

Good Luck with your search.

Well. I am looking for places to advertise my site. But I do not really want to pay a per click charge, I would rather pay a per sale charge. Meaning when someone confirms a sale, and I receive the money, I could give 20% of the sale to the place that advertised it for me.

Would you be interested in that?

I do not know about Allowee but I have TOTALLY lost faith in the CPS / CPA / CPL ad type model and I am talking about those large affiliate networks we all know about and started out with.

If it's done in-house, it's even more scary and definitely a NO-NO for me.

What is CPS?
The cost an advertiser pays per sale

What is CPA?
Cost per action for banner ads. This is the best type of rate to pay for banner advertisements, and the worst type of rate to charge. Advertisers only pay for the visitors who click on their banner and then sign up, fill out a form, or purchase something on their website.

What is CPL?
The cost an advertiser pays per lead. This is a very common method of selling advertising. A lead can be anything from an e-mail address for a newsletter to a complete survey that needs to be completely filled out and verified in order to get credit.

I can't remember the last time I made a CJ sale from a banner ad.

Thanks JdS.

I also feel that banners do not do much for the person's ad. It is only useful when you figure out the average sales per banner though.

If he is interested in that, I would be too.
