Silver on Windows 2000Hello.
Sorry to post this duplicated post here, but I am in dire need of your expertise and -believe it or not- I didn't know how to start a new thread until just now. Please bear with me and forgive me if you have already explained this dozens of times as my expertise and knowledge of the technical workings of computers is quite limited. (So, if you will, please explain as if I were a 7 year old.) I have the UK version of Silver and my computer runs on Windows 2000. The situation is that when I install the programme, it runs perfectly fine, and when it asks to install the DirectX (which I do) there seems to be no problems there either. The dilemma arises when after installation is complete, it comes to initially attempting to play the game as absolutely nothing happens. I have of late, out of exaspiration even attempted to run every executable programme on the disk associated with starting the game but it stedfastly refuses to start. I thought that perhaps it was my operating system, however when I tried in on my parents computer which utilises windows xp, the results are identical. Any assistance would be most appreciated. P.S. I do not have regular internet access, so please understand if I cannot reply to your response immediately, so if possible, please paste a copy of the explanation into my email here: alfamovierental@gmail.com Many thanks |
