Allowee has a spectacular aura about
your router is blocking port 80.

you should be able to login to your router and find something like 'NAT Setup' or 'Port redirection'

that will allow you to redirect port 80 to your server.

OK so I am pretty sure that I opened port 80 but now I need to configure my apache server. For server name do I put the ip that shows up in WINIPCFG or the one that shows up at WhatIsMyIP.com? Is there any other setting i have to change?

thanks,
Sean McCann

the best thing you can do is to create a dynamic IP domain.
www.no-ip.com and www.dyndns.com can do that.

then you just set the server name to the name you created and make sure the update program updates your IP address and it should work
