Online C Compiler.I program mostly in Linux environment. I surf the internet using windows. When I am in forums relating to Programming like GIDForums itself. I get to see a lot of codes. I want to test those codes and also provide some of my own codes. I don't have a C compiler in windows. So, I wanted to ask is there any online compiler available where I can just test my codes. I mean that I write the codes using notepad and then in order to compile them I submit to an online compiler or a public C compiler where I can compile my codes and get instant results.
If such a site exists kindly let me know. The best example of such a compiler is USACO's http://www.usaco.org, which accepts files of their self made questions but does not compile any C code. I want similar type of C compiler. |

Re: Online C Compiler.I gotta say, I've been using the mingw gnu developement set.
'http://mingw.org/' It comes with grep and cat and other great stuff. Feels like linux/gcc without having to install cygwin. Still have the msdos screen though, which is still a step back from an xterm... The install I got was at : 'http://www.cs.colorado.edu/~main/cs1300/doc/bgi/bgi.html' ...which also includes header files for doing winbgi graphics and an emacs. Small zip download, easy to install and run. Non-invasive too, to uninstall just delete the directory tree. I'm likin it! Howard; |

Re: Online C Compiler.Howard,
Please do not hesitate to include links in your posts. We discourage / disable links for spammers, not for decent people like you. And Howard, use the signature option? Surely it's easier than typing your name at the end of every post. |

Re: Online C Compiler.Well I've tried to add links before but they didn't seem to be showing up correctly so I just resorted to the single quotes. I figure anyone interested would be able to copy/past the durn thing. Here , I'll try again:
http://mingw.org/ http://www.cs.colorado.edu/~main/cs1...c/bgi/bgi.html Ok, I don't know why I thought that before.... probably because it doesn't show up correctly in 'preview'. After submitting it works fine... Thanks for the prod As to the signature, it's dynamic, plus I need the typing practice ++Howard; |
