Re: Convert a Document into TemplateQuote:
If I understand you, the procedure is: Open the document. From the File menu, click "Save As" and then select whatever file type is used as for a template (".dot" for Microsoft Word, ".stw" for OpenOffice.org, ".whatever" for other word processor programs). Then you edit the template file and take out everything that you don't want to be part of the template, and save the result. Now, just exactly what would you expect some program or automated procedure to do to make things easier for you? If you can define the task, then, maybe someone else has done it already. Otherwise, what would you look for? Regards, Dave |
