Combining Static & Dynamic contentHi techies,
I've a problem. My application runs in Tomcat. images are stored in the "images" folder which is in .war file in webapps folder. I've mentioned the image path in the jsps. It takes lot of time to load a page with smaller amt of dynamic content 'coz of the images. Is ter any sol'ns to solve this? I've come across with a concept that the static contents like images can be stored in <APACHE_ROOT> or elsewhere but not in the wepapps/<appli'n>. When the page is req'ted is it possible to combine "the images which are not from tomcat" and dynamic (DB stuff) content.b Plz help me to solve this problem. I heard about "URLrewriting Rules" in apache config file httpd.conf. Can anybody clarify this? |
