Bad error on gameI just got a new dell computer, and i installed windows 2000.
i've gotten my audio back after installing a shit load of drivers, now im having problems installing a dumb game. i insert the disk, the setup doesn't show, so i click on the E drive, because thats the one being hosted for this game. Then an error pops up "The application failed to initialize properly (0xc0000005). Click OK to terminate the program" I'm not a very bright person when it comes to computers, and i need someone who is, so, what should i do from here? |

Re: Bad error on gameAre you sure the game is supported under Win2k? I don't know if Win2k has a "legacy" mode like XP, so if it's an older game designed for Win95-98 it simply may not work.

Re: Bad error on gameI don't know if this thread is too old, but you could try Right Click->Properties then select the Compatibility tab, and "Run this program in compatibility mode for: (whatever)".
