i'm looking for a FREE real time visitor tracker.

right now im using http://www.statcounter.com
but it only allows you to have 100 hits for free, and then you gotto pay to see more.

anyone knows of a good one?

i would love to be able to see:
-most popular pages
-user activity (path)
-sources

Yes, it is real time.

If you are hosting the script yourself, the only limits are the ones you set.

out of all i'v tried, i found it fits my needs the best

I use sitemeter , it is best program gives all information about visitors and also traffic prediction for future , google analytics is also pretty good , I have also used Google analytics to monitor my site www.toponlinejob.com

If I may, I would like to advise you not to put a counter on your page so that it is visible to your users. This can make your page look unprofessional. Take a look at some of the sites that you have recently visited, how many of those sites actually do this? You’ll see that it’s not very many. Users that visit your site don’t really care about the traffic you are getting to your site and this is information that your competition doesn’t need to know! Instead, use the reporting system used by your server, this should be able to provide you with all the information you need.
