Search Engines Getting Smarter?Sometimes people trick the search engines into not indexing a link that they want to post in a thread. People use things like -www-something-com or something[dot]com and so forth...
It is common knowledge now to do this so it does not leak page rank. Have the search engines caught onto this? Are they accepting something[dot]com as being = to the correct format now? __________________

It is NOT in the best interest of Search Engine bots to look to index links that webmasters consciously try to hide.
This is why we use meta tags and robots.txt files in the first place; and search engine bots (at least the important ones) tend to honour them - so no, I doubt they will even want to go there... __________________
