i am doing a project on black hole detection in aodv network. my problem is that how much ever i increase the number of nodes or the simulation time, during simulation for the first 10-15 seconds everything will happen in a controlled manner step by step BUT after that it will rush and reach the end of simulation like to the 60th second or so.i am never able to see the full simulation in the same speed. and that is a very important part of showing my final output. any idea why that happens? please do help me out. im really in need.
i designed some paths to show my black hole detection, and how my algorithm chooses a different path. the algortihm is working correctly but only for the first two or three nodes it will show step by step the request being propagated, the confirmation coming and all.... after some time everything happens in "lighting speed" and the VT shows the end of simulation. also the simulation time clock at the top intially ticks like a clock but after reachin some 15sec, in one flash it reaches the end.

hi dear dave or anyone who can help me out, i m doing my project which is on glomosim n testing protocols in it. would you please tell me how and where can i check the protocols, and why the clock on the right hand of glomosim VT tool jumps instead of continuous time display(like normal clocks does, sec by sec).
i am new user of glomosim and i need to investigate and test the protocols so cud you plz tell me how can i test them.
i shall be grateful to you.

hi vick. thanks for your help but my problem does not solve by just slowing the speed. in the initial stages i.e first 15 seconds it works out fine and even if it doesnt i am able to slow it to my satisfaction but after that it just sorta takes huge jumps and reaches the end of simulation. please help me out

hi dave if you have read my post pls do help me out. my project is dawning to an end. i have done the coding and all to an extent. but at the simualtion stage everything happens out fine as it is being written to the glomo.stat file but during simulation i jus cant view everything. is there some time constraint in glomosim that it will properly smulate only for few seconds or somethnig or is there any way we can adjust the way the clock goes. pls do help

When I'm making my simulation (config.in as an example) I have nothing on my window (I don't see any nodes and transitions). I have J2SDK, and J2 Runtime Environment both. I don't know what is the problem. Could you help me with that?

i could'nt install glomosiim because those comands does nt run"glomosim config.in" "javac *.java"

Hi dis is bharath.. I m sorry i couldn't reply few of the queries.. nyways, u can mail me at mr.performer@gmail.com.. And regarding VT, u try to copy the config.in file, its app.conf and other files if used for mobility and node placement to java_gui folder.

There when u give the simulate command,

change /bin/config.in to java_gui/config.in
