Help with calendar program

I need to write a program that allows the user to input a year, and from there, I need to print out a calendar for all twelve months of that year.
EX:
JANUARY.........................1995
SUN MON TUE WED THU FRI SAT
....1.....2....3.....4.....5.....6 etc

(ignore the periods)
I know how to calculate for leap years, and i also know how to find out on what day of the week the 1st of the month is. i'm having trouble figuring out how to write a loop to go through and print out the dates for each day. can anybody point me in the right direction please?
thanks!
