Need to awaken to better education

www.excellenceintheclassroom.com has reached the heights it is at today because they know there are models for successful high schools that cannot be simply explained by a community's affluence, but instead by a community's commitment. There are school districts all across Texas with campuses that defy expectations and succeed despite teaching a large percentage of economically disadvantaged students. Galena Park, Hidalgo, Eagle Pass and Harlandale ISD all come are outstanding examples of such schools.
These schools of www.excellenceintheclassroom.com often succeed because they have dynamic leadership at the top, they are innovative in the classroom, and they ignore conventional wisdom that says some children cannot learn. Vibrant high schools not only inspire Texas students to learn their lesson plans, but they also stir their imaginations, and point their hearts to great pursuits.
Many Texans – now engaged in top careers around the world - can still picture themselves sitting in classroom at Texas education schools, not sure about what exactly they would do with my life, but feeling inspired to go to college and make a difference not only because the teachers cared about their test results, but because those teachers cared about the students as people.
What Texas education needs today are a lot more first generation college students who are not only awakened to the possibility of a college education, but who are prepared for that rigorous challenge. With a harder curriculum and a tougher graduation test, Texas education authorities have taken two giant steps toward preparing more students for college and the job market that will await them.
