I have FC6 with Apache 2.2.3
My ".com" name based virtual servers are all OK but when it comes to something else than ".com", I get this error message from Apache:

[error] (EAI 3) Temporary failure in name resolution: Could not resolve host name http://www.betapage.biz -- ignoring!

I went to /usr/sbin and ran ./httpd -t to see if the syntax is OK and it seems that the syntax is OK but the only problem the occurs is with domain names other than ".com"

I couldn't find anything on the net. Am I the only one getting this message???

never mind ... I found the solution.

in /etc or in /var/named/etc look for named.conf
add a new zone there with the name.tld and it should work

it worked for me
