Question

Simple Question regarding installing Apache 2.0

Hello,

I installed apache 2.0 on my computer with php on my desktop on windows 2000.
Everything is working , I have checked this on my laptop (that shares the same internet connection) with the ip address.

When i came to work and entered this address its doesnt show up.
Why?
How can I check to verify if the web server is working from home

I checked the services , apache is running,
I disabled zone alarm,
When i stop apache the pages dont load on my laptop, so apache is fine.

My assumption is for some reason it is not allowing me to cross the local network ie only the intranet is working not internet.

please help thanks
mac
