i have a question about the number of players you can have when hosting games.okay, i play xbox live and i run my internet through my computer (for undisclosed reasons). anyway, when i play halo 2 and host Big Team Battle games, i can only have up to 12 total players in the game, even though the game can hold up to 16 players. some other guy on a faq site said that his brother experienced the same problems when he would play warcraft online.
is this my ISP limiting it or what. i have been looking for the answer to this for acouple days now and still have not found it. someone please help!!! |

Re: i have a question about the number of players you can have when hosting games. There could be various reasons for it. Your ISP may be trying to reduce bandwidth by "blocking" the number of users on one connection, your normal 'net connection may not be fast enough to handle the load, or your computer could be affecting it somehow. My first suggestion would be to talk w/ your ISP and see if they are able to help you.
