MSN

since submitting my site to zeal.com and having it listed months ago, finally, within the span of the last 3-4 days, hits off MSN have started to rush in.

my suggestion - do NOT underestimate the power of MSN!

actually what i meant was that unlike before, where MSN used to just send the occasional hit to my frontpage; now it's referring directly to individual web pages just like Google.

so now, for every 5 hits from Google, MSN Search is nearly matching it!!! Something has changed with MSN Search these past few days...

i am sure nothing has changed with my website since it was first spidered by MSN a few months back - that's my point.

I noticed the MSN crawler on my site a couple of weeks ago...but it didn't seem to spider the whole site. Hope its back soon

ps - I seem to have a similar problem with the FAST-Webcrawler, though Googlebot catches everything in sight.

My best rankings are with Fast - but they send very little traffic

Every single page of my siteis on Google. The problem is when I change versions, the pages hange and I end up with a lot of dead links. (I started with .htm, then went to .html, then .shtml, now I'm using .php)

glad to see u've moved to php Charlie.

why don't u redirect ur old pages to the new ones? actually, there's a few ways to solve that problem (if u're using apache with mod-rewrite, then it becomes even easier).

or create your php pages without changing the filenames (using .htaccess to parse php in .htm files).

I am going to have the same problem as Charlie - re-doing the file structure on two sites.

Charlie, did you get into FAST using AlltheWeb?
