Creating System as Web Server (FTP server) for Hosting .NEt Applicationhello friends
i have created .NET application. now i want to create my local system as Web Server to host .NET application. so all the user can access it from remote computer. for this i have installed Apache2 on window XP. and its running successfully on the local system. but when i tried to access this application from remote computer. it doesn't give any response. then i have also tried it using IIS 5.1. but its not working then i have used Abyss Web Server. i have configured it. again its working on local system but .NET application not accessing from remote computer. i want to create my system as web server(FTP server) using static IP. plz give me response thanks......... Re: Creating System as Web Server(FTP server) for Hosting .NEt ApplicationMaybe the firewall is blocking access to port 80 from the Internet?
Find your IP, disable the firewall temporarily, type your IP address (not localhost or 127.0.0.1) in the browser's address bar and see what happens. There is nothing wrong with the Apache Web Server, I would suggest you re-install it eventually. |
