3d Panorama software

I want to create a 3D panorama of an object to be placed on a web site. I would like to add a facility where the object can be rotated using the mouse.

I need some advice on which software to use for the same.

To get an idea of what I want to achieve one can visit the following URL

These are done in Quicktime using gocubic and terragen :

http://www.black-and-white-to-color.com/stuff/waterpano.mov http://www.black-and-white-to-color.com/stuff/land.mov

Unlike full movie renders where a 10 sec (300 frame) movie will take many hours to render out these are made from just 6 renders. Four: Back, Left and Right and Two : Up and Down

Then you just fire up the free GoCubic program and it makes this 360 degree QT movie in a matter of seconds

Try enlarging the QT the quality is quite good.

Use the mouse to pan around and the QT controls to Zoom in. You can also use the keyboard shift and control to zoom whilst panning

The real use of these sort of things is in estate agent work where you take the images using a standrad camera and stitch them together to make the QT.

In other programs you can add hotspots so for example the first movie is a 360 of the main room with hotspots on the doors, click on them and you zoom in to the door and then jump to another scene in the next room

cs2 will become famous soon enough
The suggestions to use Flash MX and QuickTime are good ones. If you want a faster solution, and are willing to accept that it will only work in Internet Explorer, check eDrawings.
