Hosting Plex Are FraudsWeb Host Review: www.hostingplex.com
My website: n/a Since: n/a This information is taken from this post Let me explain what they have done. On the date of 10/17/2002, Hosting Plex states that they have 5,000 clients. Very nice job- if it was actually true. They have stated on June of 2002 that they have 100 clients in this . thread. Althought it would be nice to pick up 4,900 clients in 4 months, well.. that just doesn't happen. Most web hosting businesses reach 1 client withing their first couple of months. Well, it sounds like to me they have lied about this. But they are also confronted on the subject, and deny any lies at all. When asked to show proof of their clients, their response was Quote:
They claim to have 10-15 servers, but will only show the status for 5 of them on their web site. From October of 2002, to November of 2003, they have "maintained" their 5,000 clients. When you ask to speak with a sales rep, they will tell you that they have 5000 clients. Dont take my word though, do some investigation before using thsi company to host your web site. I've edited the title: it should only mention the web hosts' domain name.
I've also edited the first three lines, the first line (the url to the web host) which is important ONLY if you're starting a new thread in this forum... __________________

Re: hostingplex.comHello and thank you for reading.
Basically what has happened is that I've been an employee of Hostingplex for more than a year and a half. While I won't go into details about our employment, Hostingplex was thoroughly satisfied with my performance up until after the day I quit. That's when it all went downhill. Suddenly they e-mailed me asking for 900 dollars. I was like huh?! I was already owed two WHOLE weeks in pay (800 USD) and yet Hostingplex had the audacity to ask me for 900 dollars?! I said no, of course: As they still owed me money. They didn't cite why they wanted the money except they "had reason to believe" I was concentrating on other things while in the office. Yeah right, perhaps digg or fark when my tickets were complete but I gave Hostingplexmy all while in the office! So of course I would dispute it. Sure enough then came the disputes/chargebacks. Within hours they had attempted to dispute/chargedback over 4,800 dollars in my wages since January (paid via paypal!). They're screwing their OWN employees! What a scam. Yes, you read that right. Hostingplex is a scam. For any of you whom have signed up with Hostingplex due to my recommendations, I feel truly, truly sorry for you. I'd recommend getting your funds back from Hostingplex using WHATEVER means necessary. The current tally of what they're trying to steal from me: 2 weeks owed wages (800 USD) 3 months of 'chargebacked/owed wages': 4,800 USD Affiliate payout: 2,500 USD -- the same one I used to advertise with on e107.org :/ Thieves, scammers. Steer very, very clear of Hostingplex. I should have listened to everyone else to told me not to work with them :/ |
