Removing installed program onto usbHi i've got a program i have had installed on my computer for a while now and i want to take it with me when i goto my parents and put it on my computer there. The problem is i dont have the install program anymore and there is no chance of me getting hold of it. Is there anyway i can get the program of windows XP onto usb memory stick and the back onto windows XP on a different computer?

Re: Removing installed program onto usbNot normally. Programs installed on Windows typically scatter install files around the file system and make changes to the Registry. Hence, just copying the program's directory over won't work.
Of course, you can always try it and see, but I'll bet it won't work. __________________
